The Ruck is a term used in rugby when athletes battle for
position over a ball that is extremely close to the ground.
Like our Sheet Sled, Stroops’ fully welded, powder-coated
steel Ruck Sled is used to develop the lower-body muscles
used for explosiveness and acceleration. However, the
Stroops Ruck Sled features a welded steel bar (see photo)
and traditional rails that provide the options of either
pushing or pulling the sled. This added feature multiplies the
benefits of this powerful tool, allowing athletes to develop
the broader range of muscle groups used during pushing as
well as pulling. The five-inch post holds up to four weights
(180 pounds). Includes one Ruck Sled, or one Ruck Sled
with one drag strap and one basic shoulder harness . - See more at: http://www.stroopsperformance.net/all-performance-products/#sthash.6kZk2lx8.dpuf
